Pram – Sagrasso Sea – Review

Pram

Sargasso Sea (Too Pure/American)
by Joshua Brown

A jazzy, slow joyride in a model airplane through a miniature world of glass figurines and those little things that you shake and it starts snowing (there must be a word for them). Singer/lyricist Rosie has a lazy, Speakeasy kinda voice reminiscent of Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier. Strangely, I’m constantly reminded of I Dream of Genie when I listen to this. I guess both concepts exist on a similar frequency.
