After hearing multiple versions of “Ex-Junkie,” my favorite being the stripped-down voice and drum only remix, I was a little let down by the rest of the five-song EP. Called Future Pop or some such thing, it covers a wide range of influences, with the same slick, keyboard-enhanced production. Not as rock-orientated as, say, God Lives Underwater, and not nearly as interesting either. Get the “Ex-Junkie” maxi-single instead.
