Even with the use of steel machine parts and oil drums, even with all the raw sound sources of Neubauten, even with the CD-ROM adventure inside, even with the hoarse, strained vocals, even with the struggle to achieve a new industrial sound, Babyland isn’t very good. That’s too bad, because the pictures in the CD-ROM show their performances to be appeallingly eclectic and destructive. Keep trying.
