Return with us now to the misty days of ’85, when grunge was what you found around your tub and every guitar in the land went jingle-jangle-jingle. Side A is a harmonica-spiced power chordal anthem with rootsy undercurrents. Side B sounds like the Del Fuegos having a bash at the Who’s “Amazing Journey.” I don’t know if the fact that their producer’s name is Townsend makes that ironic, but it’s worth noting.
