Re-issue of five oldies from the eccentric uncle of New Zealand kiwi-pop, setting aside the noisier extremes of his Tall Dwarfs schtuf in favor of one man, one living-room, and one guitar. Enough quiet melodic sensitivity to knock out a room full of Jonathan Richmans. That’s good, incidentally.
