Madame X – Review

Madame X

(Estrus)
by Joshua Brown

On the flipside of the rant-worthy coin (that means we’re getting to the good stuff) is Madame X, who single-handedly makes traversing a sea of platters of mediocrity worthwhile. Forget about the new corporate-tested, mother-approved lounge music “craze.” Madame X brings lounge music into the ’90s, the same way Jamiroquai does to seventies disco. I won’t tell you about the “sultry female vocals,” because hopefully you won’t want to read about them. If you do, I just lost respect for you.
