Congrats on surviving a year in the zany world of ‘zine publishing! I like this ‘zine, I really do. I’m glad someone knowledgeably reviews bands like Warrant, Enuff Z’Nuff, Skid Row, and some local rock (note: not alternarock, indie rock, or power pop – just fuckin’ rock), so that I DON’T HAVE TO! Writer/Producer/Director Michael McCarthy is a damn fine writer, and he puts together a good ‘zine about rock music. While voices are raised (no matter what genre is being discussed) when talking about a band or genre “selling out,” ANT has a non-defensive appreciation of the bands they like, and a sense of humor about both themselves and the music they love. Man, there’s little worse than a verbose fanatic intent on swaying everyone within earshot into agreeing with his ill-thought-out, completely unimportant opinion. Tastes great, less filling, who cares? Besides the informative interviews, I’m pleased to see more articles/essays on topics like “20 Reasons to Hate Metallica” and “People That Can Go To Hell.”
