The artist currently known as Shawn Smith and his mad scientist partner Steve Fisk have been tinkering in the lab again. Not surprisingly, they’ve created another monster with this, their second offering as Pigeonhed. Knowing no sonic boundaries, the gentlemen whip up several soul-funk concoctions and toss in the gospel-tinged “Glory Bound,” the six-string sludge of “Phunpurephun,” and the angelic heartbreak of “For Those Gone On” for good measure. Mostly, though, The Full Sentence throbs with sex electronica.
