A rather hit and miss collection of works recorded live at the studios of KAOS Radio in Olympia, WA. Featuring artists from all over North America, this 21-track work veers from the pop/punk work of cub and Emily’s Sassy Lime to the spare folksy work of Madigan and Sandman (no relation to Mark) and then to noisy/ugly treatments by Harry Pussy and Malaise and beyond. Like a good public radio station, everything might not go down nice and easy, but any fan of indie music is bound to find something of value here.
