Peace, Love & Pitbulls – 3 – Review

Peace, Love & Pitbulls

3 (The Music Cartel)
by Chris Best

Peace, Love & Pitbulls got their name while hanging around in Amsterdam, where all around them smelly hippies mellowed out on the legal drugs with overly violent pitbulls for pets. Unfortunately, the name is about as cool as this band gets. The sad part is that it doesn’t have to be this way. PL&P are the musical equivalent of under-achieving students – they have so much potential, but they just don’t apply themselves. All over the place I hear pieces of their songs that could have been brilliant, but they seem to’ve just said “Ah, fuck it. That’s good enough.” Too bad.
