I’m not sure about going from one extreme to another, but not being afraid of change is a promising attribute. Even if the change has shown some leaning toward The Promise Ring and (gulp!) The Get Up Kids, I still commend them for trying a different route. So here you go: a lighter, livelier, “less dark” but still damn great Brandtson with their solid sophomore release.
