I wrote this to a friend, “Leadfoot moving closer to classic Southern arena rock/early Aerosmith riff boodle.” Honestly, I can see these guys just fucking killing a couple Lizzy covers when they go on to flesh-out their five-CD box set in 2011. Soulful, non-simp vocals, catchy tunes. “War Against You” has a perfect vocal hook that closes down in time for the guitar to box yer other ear. No reason you couldn’t program it right after Foo Fighters and before The Black Crowes. The slow dance tunes are the kinda thing Paul Rogers sang a long time ago to great effect with Bad Company. Tuneful as fuck without sacrificing the rock’n’roll. Kinda like Columbus Ohio’s Bob City when they get in “that” mood. Tour ’em both with Alabama Thunderpussy.
