16 Sunsets in 24 Hours has the fat, down-tuned heaviness of Kyuss as well as the pretty melodicism, but I don’t think anyone would confuse the two, you know?
Painfully, excruciatingly slow. How do people play this slow? I’ve heard and liked other Cathedral stuff, but I don’t remember it being quite so, well, slow.
A thick, crunchy, bottom-heavy sound that rocks hard with an emphasis on the groove. Never thought a band with a guitarist named Nigel could beat this much ass!
For those of you who are curious about all of this heavy/desert/stoner rock stuff that you’re hearing so much about these days, this is the perfect CD for you.
Tuneful as fuck without sacrificing the rock’n’roll. Kinda like Columbus Ohio’s Bob City when they get in “that” mood. Tour ’em both with Alabama Thunderpussy.
