Nobodys – The Beautys – Hugh – Review

Nobodys/The Beautys

Maybe I’m just in the wrong mood for this, but the Nobodys‘ songs sound like leftovers from another record. And seeing as they released a 52-song “everything we never really put out before,” you’d think they’d gotten rid of it all. With the exception of “Dead End Job,” nothing here is much to write about. Snarly punk, but if you have Nobodys’ other records (and you should), you’ve already got better than this. As for The Beautys, they’re from Indiana, Mass Giorgini produced this slab, and the singer belts it out like Chrissie Hynde. It’d probably be fun to see them live, but I’ve no desire to learn the words. Or play this again any time soon.
