No real surprises here. If yer into King’s kooky/campy freakshow of falsetto, here’s almost an hour’s worth of riffs and screeching to add to yer collection. As always, there’s plenty of spooky sounds, whisper-to-a-layered-scream vocals, and some classic guitarwork the likes of which ya don’t hear much of anymore. Notable is that King Diamond is using his mid-range more (accentuated by his distinctive growl and shriek), meaning he snarls like a normal metal singer. The result adds yet another voice to haunt your dreams.
