Moods for Moderns – Two Tracks Left – Review

Moods for Moderns

Two Tracks Left (Doghouse)
by Tim Den

This is sweet, sweet pop that everyone should (and will, dammit) love. Think The Figgs (especially the vocals), Badfinger, The Beatles (face it, everyone rips off The Beatles), Cheap Trick (hella hooks, dood), Sloan (nice rock riffs), and Chisel (sharp guitar sound), and you can just imagine how fucking beautiful these songs are. I must say I’m even more impressed by the fact that the members of Moods For Moderns came from such mediocre post-hardcore bands as Empire State Games and King For A Day. Get this or you suck.
