Fifteen – Survivor – Review

Fifteen

Survivor (Sub City)
by Tim Den

I don’t remember Fifteen being this prolific before they broke up. I guess second time’s the charm, eh? Survivor is what everybody loves and expects from Jeff Ott and co.: More Gilman St. pop-punk set to Everyman’s Tales of Life on the Streets. Punks are defended, domestic violence discouraged, rehabilitation given to the junkies, and the required nod to Mumia Abu-Jamal included. The stories and the songs are starting to sound the same, but someone’s gotta sing the woes of the people.
