History? All right, some history… In Philly, a long time ago, there was a band called Bloodhound Gang. Siddown kid, this was before they became popular. Anyway, they had two lead rappers, Jimmy Pop and Daddy Long Legs. The album Use Your Fingers was an ode to the suburbs, a dorky-yet-clever (and above all, funny) hip hop album aimed straight for the white kids. Well, something happened and Daddy left. His loss, huh? Bloodhound Gang persevered, and although Jimmy Pop takes himself and his moronic humor far too seriously, they got a hit. Good for them.

Meanwhile, Daddy put together Wolfpac and seems to have forgotten all about the fact that he’s just a short-dicked dweeb from the suburbs who has some meager vocal skills. What’s worse is that he seems to be under the misunderstanding that Insane Clown Posse is a really good group. So what do you get? Bad horror rap. Don’t believe me? Ok, here’s who likes them: Howard Stern, ICP, Slipknot, and Kottonmouth Kings. Nuff said. Almost. I have to say that their DJ is actually pretty good. He knows how to take a metal riff and make it funky. And, amusingly enough, the requisite bonus track is a duet between Bloodhound Gang and Wolfpac, a sort of “fuck you” to guys like me who like to think the break-up of the original Bloodhound gang was a bad one. But there’s one thing that takes away any validity to this album – they attempt a cover of “The Humpty Dance” by Digital Underground. And it’s horrible. I get hives just thinking about it. Avoid this album. Unless yer a genetically-deficient glue sniffer. If so, you’ll probably like it.
