Time warp (or stuck in time?). UK-influenced punk via Orange County so ya know they soaked up their share of early Cali-core along the way. I can actually sit thru a whole album by these guys, I know cuz I have in the past and I probably will again when the new one shows up. At first glance, “Suburban Lords” is a great title for a song, at second glance, it’s actually a Deviants song, “Slum Lords,” with different lyrics. At third glance, Smogtown‘s got good taste, plus they’re not afraid to let ya know who they’re rippin’ off.
