Circle Of Dead Children – The Genocide Machine – Review

Circle Of Dead Children

The Genocide Machine (Deathvomit/Necropolis)
by Tim Den

Sick, sick crusty grindcore borrowing all that’s ugly from noise (think Merzbow) and hardcore (breakdowns). This is what a septic tank would sound like if you dropped an A bomb in it. Even scarier… these guys don’t sing about gore! The Genocide Machine functions on a manifesto more akin to Integrity or G-7 Welcoming Committee bands, in that it accuses every single living person of being a part of a subconscious conspiracy to end all existence. In ignoring ecological damages and the pleas of fellow beings, the human race is the genocide machine. Articulately written and reasoned, but minced out of the vocalist’s throat like ground beef, the ideology of Circle Of Dead Children makes this band all the more respectable and urgent. The Genocide Machine will hopefully have all of us reevaluating the importance of our modern “needs”… as well as testing our stomachs for sonically devastating “songs.”
