How to enjoy Mixed Live: Ingest copious amounts of MDMA. Get someone to turn the lights in your house on and off, really fast. Play loud. Otherwise, it’s just another incessant beat album. Strange thing is, Tall Paul is mixing together other people’s songs. And it’s still boring. Adding to the tedium: Mauro Picotto, Stylus Trouble, Ta Ta Box Inhibitors, Mutiny UK, David James, Durango 95, Afrika Bambaataa, Three Drives, Accadia, Push, Sunscreen, Tall Tin Box, Steve Lee, Big Fat, and Goodfellows. And if you’re one of those extreme shut-ins, you’ll be happy to know this was mixed and recorded live in L.A… so you’ll never have to leave your apartment again! That’s a blessing to both of us.
