Giving Candace from Walls of Jericho a run for her money as an explosive front woman, Still Breathing screamer Dacey Buntin is a rabid firecracker, raining down upon us with a vicious vocal attack and intense hardcore/noisecore attitude (ala Living Sacrifice/Vision of Disorder) that’ll make even hardcore veterans cower in a corner. The band’s debut disc, September, is a varied and impressive release that stands out as one of the best releases this column, next to Poison The Well and the godly Heaven Shall Burn. Check out the breathtaking track “With Hateful Pride.” Wow!
