Brandtson – Dial in Sounds – Review

Brandtson

Dial in Sounds (Deep Elm)
by Tim Den

Brandtson continues to get better and better with each release. Tighter both rhythmically and vocally, Dial in Sounds is lean muscles all over and two spoonfuls of sugar too much. But while your teeth might complain, your heart and bopping head won’t. These guys do the lame trick of Emoing Around the Clock Singing About Girls with so much color (like the beautiful artwork), that you almost start to believe the genre’s credibility. Oh wait, did I just say “credibility?” I meant “not entirely worth the most painful death ever: Just a quick, humiliating one.” It don’t get better than this, folks.
