Kissing Chaos is basically Pop Unknown without guitarist/vocalist Tim Lasater. Unlike their previous outfit, though, these four gentlemen (including ex-members of Mineral and Sparta) have chosen to spice things up with dual vocals and a heavier approach. Guitar chugs, twin lead harmonies, and the same heartbreaking emotion as Pop Unknown litter Enter With a Bullet. Sometimes the screaming and the metal worshipping hinder the band’s knack for kick-in-the-nuts effectiveness, but you can always go back to the old Pop Unknown records for that. Otherwise, if you’re a fan of any of the previous acts, you’ll surely fall all over this one.
