Aside from the strong, melodious vocals, I really fell for Fall Out Boy (ha ha, oh what a clever pun) because they have a devilish side to their lyrics.
Where previous releases saw The Stereo plowing through every song with muscular anthems, Rewind+Record retains the potency without roaring past the listener.
Sounds like a home recording compared to The Long Walk, but they make the best of it with their dueling guitars, uplifting melodies, and honest enthusiasm.
As close to Jawbreaker as you’re gonna get. Add British punk rock grit, take away emo clichés, and you’ve got what Jets To Brazil should’ve sounded like.
