Amon Amarth churn out albums like an under-aged whore does STDs. Should we be worried? Not if they sound like Versus the World each and every time! The Crusher was kinda weak, but the Swedes have returned to form with this slab of ultra melodic, mythological whoop-ass. The chord changes are sweet, the grooves are tile-splitting, and an aura of majestic Scandinavian firestorm lives in every song.

Listening to this album conjures up images of Viking ships swarming upon the horizon, fashionably sailing into your hometown and pillaging the living shit out of it. Heavy, stylish, and catchy.
