Jesus, these guys are this tight even live? Scaaaary. By far the most metal-sounding punk band on Fat (a cover of “Bark at the Moon!?”), Strung Out shred like Sodom on a Propagandhi high. Their Live in a Dive entry is also the series’ most energetic one, with the crowd seemingly out of control in hysteria over the band’s mosh/grind anthems. If it weren’t for all the sweet melodies going on, I could see metal dudes digging this band.
