Houston – Bottom of the Curve – Review

Houston

Bottom of the Curve (54˚ 40’ or Fight!)
by Tim Den

Stack Shiner’s dissonant melodies against Queens Of The Stone Age’s electrifying distortion, then add a very capable set of lungs and you’ve got Houston. Shades of Failure’s intergalactic zig zags are present, too, as Midwestern post-hardcore gets filtered through sombre moments then explosive power chords. Dynamic and powerful.
