Built Upon Frustration – Resurrected – Review

Built Upon Frustration

Resurrected (Da’ Core)
by Adrian Bromley

Pittsburgh’s Built Upon Frustration recently reformed (they broke up a few years back after releasing 1997’s well-received Low Life Crew) and seem to have somehow upped their heaviness with Resurrected, a truly punishing onslaught of metal and hardcore. Founding vocalist Jason Hominsky sounds pissed as he leads the charge through heavy-hitters like “Where I Belong,” “Show No Weakness,” and the ultra-cool “Personal Games For Personal Gain.” Damn, I’d wish I’d written that song! Fans of Hatebreed, Madball, and Integrity, take note, as this hardcore crew mean fuckin’ business!
