These fellas, well, they’re choppin’ the wood just right. Mid-tempo to quick syncopated stomp that owes as much to Tad as anything. Some of that “anything” is dirt-under-the-nails garage-metal (Tank cover, boys?), knuckle-busting hardcore, and enough dynamics to avoid being a blur of whatever. No wonder they’ve played with Dixie Witch and JJ Paradise Players Club. Betcha a two-inch line of crystal they play with Rue in ’04. Great recording, too.
