Full Upright Position (The Self-Starter Foundation)

Actionslacks guitarist/vocalist Tim Scanlin likes hooks and melodies, and he makes sure you know it with Full Upright Position. Whether it’s a phasing keyboard line or a shout of “This damn nation!” (double-edged phrases are also a favorite of his), the goal is obvious: The listener will not be able to resist the call. The temptation to hum/sing along, and then he’s got you.

With slight upward vocal turns at the end of his sentences (not unlike Dylan), Scanlin mans a tight ship on Full Upright Position. And despite the fact that the band members live on separate coasts, I’d say it’s highly likely that he’s about to sail it right into your brain.
