No Wait Wait

Funny, this band name is like calling out to me as I type “Ignorable indie rock” and asking me to stay a bit longer. No. Vice Magazine called them a cross between Weezer and The Cars, and that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever going to say about them. Weezer and The Cars put out great pop rock with lots of keyboards, but they had timeless melodies. There’s nothing here to remember two seconds after it’s played. (Relenting, a bit.) The singer has a nice mid-Western voice, but he doesn’t sing anything worth listening to.
