Weep for the Lives Your Wishes Never Led (Saw Her Ghost)
by Scott Hefflon

Look at the cover, read the album title, and realize that song titles are the most “clever” thing about the band. “The Dartboard Watched Us Like That Candle From The Beauty and the Beast” and “Don’t Smile When You Play Because It’s Really Pissing Me Off.” And the bio is in all caps, and the CD booklet is in all lowercase. In other words, trendy noisecore, using every trick in the book (like movie samples and quiet interludes) to carry them. A genre band. A decent opener for better bands, like the ones on Black Market Activities.
