Dez has always had a distinct roar, from Coal Chamber to now. If you’ve heard his voice, it doesn’t matter what cover band he’s fronting, you know it’s him. And that, of course, is the problem: Either his timing is slow, or he’s just a talented copycat. He’s always following, not leading. At least with this band, he’s paying tribute to lots of good Swedish thrash and classic death metal.
