To exaggerate wildly, it’s like Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood, or Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore. Meaning, there’s a guy and girl singing, and they play opposite roles. From Portland, OR, unsigned, I think, with talent and some nice dynamic between them, but it’s low-key. A few powerful notes in a pleasant but unmemorable melody, the kind of band who opens for someone good, you talk with yer friends at the bar during their set cuz they’re not so bad you have to leave, and when they’re done, you say “yeah, they were pretty good, who’s on next?”
