Everybody Rise (Kill Rock Stars)
by Scott Hefflon
Good to see this quality vintage rock band move from the garage label of Estrus to the bedroom label of Kill Rock Stars. They’ve been doing the garage thing for a while, been doing it well, and the undergrounders know who they are, even if their fiery brand of WA rock/soul only has a few thousand diehards. Every major city has 50-100 fans, and that’s enough to fill the bar for a good time you won’t remember the next morning. Get ’em on the mp3 CD. KRS hasn’t had a good rock record in a while, so this and The Old Haunts deserve an extra push.
