Great title, and the title track is the best by a long shot. I’m too high-strung for awkward-guy indie pop, but I’m glad someone’s still writing timeless AM radio pop, I’ll just never listen to it. From Canada, the little brother of a guy in The New Pornographers, a band some seem to quite like, but I’m always bummed to have such a cool name taken by such a shoegazing bunch. The Awkward Stage is timeless and classy, just not my thing.
