Flotation lost me again here… Seattle-based bedroom label releases debut of “sexy rock” decade-jumping band who likes Johnny Thunders/Dead Boys and G’N’R/Buckcherry styles of glam. Perhaps they sweat’n’stomp live and buy whiskey shots for hot girls shakin’ in the front row, but this is unconvincing, performed moderately well (like it’s hard), and the songs simply don’t stick. Maybe the leather’n’fishnets combined with a line of shots would catch the listener up in the energy, but stylistically, I’ve snuck out on far better bands to go get a slice.
