This Moment In Black History
Public Square (Smog Veil)
by Scott Hefflon
A nice cross between yowl punk and stoner drone. Like saying you like cocaine and acid. Basically, there’s some vintage-sounding psychedelia (both trippy wow-man and acid-rock head-shake) as well as the kinda fuzzy garage grr that makes The White Stripes sound as polished and gutsy as Def Leppard. Perfect for your next wall-punching bender, followed by all the suicidal sobbing and cosmic contemplation that follows.
