Meat Puppets Live at Rolling Stone, Lollipop available for pre-order

Legendary rock trio Meat Puppets made a triumphant return to SXSW last week playing a scorching live session with Rolling Stone and joining the legendary Roky Erickson on stage at the Austin Music Awards.

Looking ahead to the spring, Meat Puppets have been invited to perform Up On The Sun at this years’ All Tomorrow’s Parties festival curated by Animal Collective. ATP have put together a festival mix featuring the title track to that classic LP.

The new Meat Pupppets album, Lollipop – out April 12, 2011 on Megaforce Records – is now available for pre-order. Check out album art and download the first track off the upcoming LP, Damn Thing.

Lollipop features the indelible Kirkwood brothers back at work and back at play on 12 powerful new original cuts.

Rolling Stone heralds the bands’ return – “Against all odds, The Meat Puppets are rocking again.”
