Gold Motel hit the road

Gold Motel are touring in continued support of their debut release Summer House. Shortly after the tour concludes, Gold Motel will be back in their home town of Chicago to play their first ever Lollapalooza show!  The sunny anthems off their debut got fans through the brutal winter this year, and now they’ll be framed in the perfect summer light.
 
Gold Motel’s debut album Summer House came out to raves from SPIN, Nylon, Venus, Alternative Press, Filter, Fuse, and the LA Times, among others.  The Chicago natives quickly followed up their debut with a 7″ titled Talking Fiction.  Since their release, the band has played with an assortment of notables, including Motion City Soundtrack at the first annual Popsickle Festival, Minus the Bear, FUN, and Kate Nash.
 
Gold Motel continues their series of firsts by following up their debut album, debut summer tour with Farewell Continental and debut Lollapalloza date with their first ever UK tour in support of Hellogoodbye. Their song “We’re On The Run” can be heard on a recent episode of ABC’s hit show, Private Practice, but it’s so much sweeter to hear it live. Fans can catch the band at the following tour dates:
