Athens, GA’s bright and shiny college rock is alive and well with enthusiastic indie kids like Reptar. “Sebastian” blends synths and handclaps with African drumming and Graceland (Paul Simon, not Elvis) guitarwork. Everything you ever liked (or hated) about supercool indie rock makes a brief appearance here. Probably not to sell a million records, but cuz it’s fun to play.
