Vancouver’s Bison B.C. turned a lot of heads with 2010’s Dark Ages, a supremely confident slice of sludge metal. Perhaps emboldened by the praise, the band is getting a little adventurous on their new six-song album, Lovelessness, putting together gems like this two-faced track, “Anxiety Puke/Lovelessness” which segues from tight punk aggression to a prolonged nine-minute doom pummeling.
