After a self-titled release in 2010, The Storm Generation is a six-song, 32 minute EP released by Tee Pee Records to introduce the band to the world before their 2013 full-length. “Incident at Stinson Beach” is a fine instrumental that showcases the band’s penchant for psychedelia, surf rock, spaghetti Westerns, Middle Eastern scales and Far Eastern melodies. Produced (again) by Kyuss’ Scott Reeder, these three ex-Parisians, now Los Angeles star gazers, prove they can be heavy when needed, introspective when desired. A fine introduction indeed.
