Boston hardcore act Vanna embarks on road voyage

Boston’s own, Vanna, is proud to announce their first headlining effort since the release of their latest record, “The Few and the Far Between.” The HOME IS WHERE I ROAM tour is a voyage that will embark across the United States with fellow comrades, Alpha & Omega, Betrayal, and The Greenery.
Vanna returns stateside after successful tours supporting Norma Jean in Australia as well as a headlining run in Europe. When asked about the upcoming trek, vocalist Davey Muise says, “Being on the road and sharing our music with kids is what fuels this band, it’s all we ever want to do. We also always try to help showcase our friends music that we are equally as proud of as our own. So when it came time to do a headliner, we wanted to take bands that we enjoy not only their music but their friendship. Alpha & Omega, Betrayal and The Greenery are all amazing bands each with their own sound and styles that we love. We are so excited to take all of our music to each city and try to give kids, even if just for one night, a place they can be free to be themselves and forget about problems and bullshit and really just enjoy the moment of their surroundings. We hope that you come and join us at these venues we personally chose, lets make this fall one to remember, lets make every city our home away from home. I believe in you, if you believe in me.”

Head to ABSOLUTEPUNK.NET to watch the first chapter, which is set to the first two tracks, “The Few and the Far Between” and “The Lost Art of Staying Alive.” Check every Friday, as ABSOLUTEPUNK.NET will be premiering all ten parts to reveal the complete narrative.
The Few and the Far Between  is the band’s second full length album for Artery Recordings /Razor & Tie and was produced by Jay Maas and recorded at Getaway Recordings in Boston (Haverhill) Massachusetts. Maas also produced Vanna’s first Artery Recordings release, the 2010 EP The Honest Hearts.

Vanna released And They Came Baring Bones (Artery Recordings /Razor & Tie) in the summer of 2011 to critical and commercial success.  And They Came Baring Bones debuted at #8 on the Billboard New Artist Chart and #22 on the Billboard Hard Music Chart.   Alternative Press raved “Vanna could be well on their way to the pinnacle of hardcore success” while touted “And They Came Baring Bones is without a doubt Vanna’s best effort to date.”
