Starflyer 59 releases “Sunrise” today via the Orange County, CA label Velvet Blue Music.  It’s the third single from the upcoming full-length Vanity out on 10/15.

 

The new single is markedly more upbeat than the previous two singles “Life In Bed” and “Like To Lose.” Note the smiling photo of Jason Martin (vocals/guitar). It harkens back to some of the bands strongest influences like New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Church, etc. The bouncing bass line, ultra-clean guitar tones, and a fantastic vocal hook make it an instant classic. The track was produced by the fabulous TW Walsh.
