Emo, to me, is usually synonymous with noisy, crappy-sounding, yelping rock. And while it may sound odd, when done well, noisy, crappy-sounding, yelping rock beats the piss out of radio-friendly drivel. But there’s little worse than bad noisy, crappy-sounding, yelping rock. And while Uranium 9 Volt ain’t that bad, I’m really wishing it came on cassette so I could tape over it.
