TV Terror – Review

TV Terror

Felching A Dead Horse (Re-Constriction)
by Lex Marburger

Also of import is Re-Constriction’s TV Terror. Why? Because it’s 36 industrial bands covering TV theme songs! Witness Numb take on “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood,” 16 Volt sink “The Love Boat,” The Electric Hellfire Club put “Charles in Charge” (with a nice Manson twist), Kill Switch… Klick “Welcome Back Kotter,” Alien Sex Fiend sockko us with “Batman,” and Sofia Run stroke “Josie & the Pussycats,” just to name a few. The best thing about these tracks is that they’re usually only as long as the original themes. That way they hit you, make you shudder or howl with laughter, then depart before they get tiresome. Bonus points for using the phrase “Felching A Dead Horse” on the cover.
