We Are The In Crowd release anticipated debut in October
Hopeless Records is excited to announce the release of We Are The In Crowd’s debut full length Best Intentions out October 4th! Originally formed as a studio project between Tay Jardine (vocals), Jordan Eckes (guitar/vocals) and Mike Ferri (bass) in 2009, the undeniable musical chemistry of the trio led to the addition of Rob Chianelli (drums) and Cameron Hurley (guitar) and We Are The In Crowd was born.
Hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY, the band combines alt-rock elements with straightforward, brutally honest pop music, and quickly caught the attention of Hopeless Records. Their melodic, vibrant instrumentation lays the perfect complimentary groundwork for the dual vocalists expressions to weave effortlessly throughout each track. The lyrics illustrate a give-and-take of two differing opinions, exemplified by their debut single, “For The Win” off their seven-song freshman EP “Guaranteed To Disagree.” Jardine describes the format, “With two vocalists, we think it’s a great way to illustrate two opinions because you can clearly hear the difference between our voices. We based a lot of the songs around the idea of having two opinions to every situation.”
We Are The In Crowd released their debut EP “Guaranteed To Disagree in June 2010 to immediate success and a full run on that summer’s Vans Warped Tour. “As cliche as it sounds, our goal is to continue to learn about the industry we’re in and become the best we can be,” Jardine said. “We are young in this business that’s constantly changing, and we’re growing and learning with it. It’s hard to believe we started a year ago; it feels like every day is the beginning of our career.”
With copious amounts of hard work, determination and a history of good luck, We Are The In Crowd is poised to deliver one of the most highly anticipated LP’s of 2011.
