Yeah, Sure sounds like a more basic, punk version of Rage Against the Machine on “Gut Punch,” but that’s due to singer Alex Knight’s voice and cadence. The song’s short (a little over a minute and a half), sweet (okay, you got me there), and I guess it can be beat. But so could Mike Tyson, even in his prime. It’s no shame. “Gut Punch” is pretty good though, a sliver of updated classic hardcore with a little melody thrown in. Nothing else I’ve heard from the band goes quite this hard, but that’s okay, too. These nuanced fellers have talent.
